Blog 6 Postgraduate Course

Hello everyone! The topic of today is very interesting to me, because I have thought about to do a post-graduate. Even though I have never seen the options to do one, so this will help me to approach to a possible  master.

As I didn’t search anything before this, I would like to begin at home. The post-graduate I would like to take is the one named “Magíster en Áreas Silvestres y Conservación de la Naturaleza“ in Spanish or Master of Wilderness Areas and Nature Conservation (or something like that) in english.

It is a career that take from one to three years and it’s based on the wildlife conservation in a country where the production area is in constant tug-of-war with the wilderness areas and as a consequence, the land use changes. In this way, one of the most harmful for the enviroment and the wildlife, is the deforestation.

This master consist in six courses:  “Biology and Ecology of Conservation”, “Conservation of Flora and Vegetation”, “Cultural Vision of Nature”, “Conservation and Study of Animal Population”, “Policies about Biodiversity, Wildlife and Protected Areas” and “Management of Wilderness Areas”. I have to say, that everyone seems interesting to me.

I would like to study this, because I would like to have more tools in this aspect.

Maybe I’ll be working, so I would take it as a part-time course.

BLOG 3: MY FAVOURITE PIECE OF TECHNOLOGY

Hi, everyone! Today I’m writing about my favourite electronic device.

I must say that the decision wasn’t easy, because I use a lot both, my cellphone and my computer, but I decided for my computer.

There are so many things that I can do with my laptop. I use it to read, even when I prefer the paper, but there is an advantage in laptops compared to the old way: you can access to a lot of contents in the internet!, and that’s priceless for me. I also access to audiovisual content as movies and music. I simply love the way that image and sound unify, it is a magical show to me.

I used to spend many hours on internet when I acquired it (September of 2016), but nowadays I don’t really use it much. However, I’m keeping it, because everything would be much harder without the computers and the internet.

The Best Concert Ever

Hi bloggers! Today I’m writing about the best concert I have ever been. I really like music, so I have been to some concerts and to choose one it wasn’t easy. Because of the experience that meant to me, I would say that Lollapalooza 2013 was the best concert I have ever been. As always, it was at O’higgins Park.

That year, there were many artists that I followed, such as: Queens of Stone Age, Franz Ferdinand, Two Door Cinema Club, Foals and The Hives. Some others were a not-to-be-missed like Pearl Jam and A Perfect Circle, even when they were not my favourites. Also I discovered another like The Black Keys and Alabama Shakes.

Most of them, are Rock bands with some kind of mixture of others musical genres.

My favourite of that time were The Hives. They are a Swedish Rock Band formed in 1993, but they became known in the earlies 2000’s. Their songs are very fast and that’s why I choose them. The audience were WILD! We were jumping and screaming, we had a lot of energy. I had a great time.

A country I'd like to visit

Hello everyone, the mission for today it's to tell you about a country that I would like to know. 

The country I choose was because of its natural beauty and their stunning landscapes, specially the ones that combine mountains, lakes and, of course, forests. 

Switzerland is a small country ubicated on Europe between Italy, France and Germany. It's known for the Alps mountains and their different scenarios mixing many compounds that nature brings, such as: rivers, lakes, forest, meadows with a perfect look to the mountains and some snowy mountains that never ends.

One of the most impressive thing to me, about the swiss, is the way they respect the forests and animals, and the way they care the environment.

If I have the opportunity to go to Switzerland someday, I would like to visit all the mountains there and, hopefully, have enough time to enjoy the journey and to see every corner out there.

I think I’d never change Chile as my home, but if I have to, I think Switzerland would be a nice place to live.
